Very light use Gavin Velo road bike shoes for entry level road cycling Spinning as well as Peloton. Ride time with Look cleats was less than an hour. FIT:
Will fit a range of feet from narrow to average. May not be a good choice for wide feet. The features are the rigid HEEL CUPS, the great ventilation of the soles and mesh uppers for hot outdoors or in a warm spin class . The extra Strong Tri strap design is very secure, even for competitive sprints.
The close ups reveal very light wear. no scratching, just the faded pencil marks for cleats, easy to rub sole clean.
I only recommend 3 bolt cleats, but they are 2 bolt SPD ready. Soles are moderate in stiffness, with rigid power heel cups. The rigid heel encourages a new user in building the skill of pulling back and up for round, smooth pedaling. Indoor training is a great way to work on technique , using shoes with a stiff heel and pulling back with 1 leg drills, and the right saddle setback.
